Was going to update the current event on the home page to the Oakbank carnival but they don't have a logo! I'll keep searching for something interesting. If anyone has an event they want promoted, email me. I can't promise that many people will se it however!

So frustrating! I've been searching for a few lines of html to add comments to the bottom of each post. No luck as yet. The frustrating part is, the code is sitting on my computer at work, but I can't upload to blogger from there. Looks like I'll have to wait and drop the code to myself at home.

Happy easter to everyone! Since the family isn't religious, Friday became the day of the bunny. There is no equivalent to Red Tulip chocolate!

Has been a long week. Mentioned in a previous post that the end of daylight savings is bad. Thought I'd lose an hour sleep but I had it all the wrong way around & now I'm gaining an hour. Woohoo!

After reading the final few lines of a critic report in The Advertiser (Adelaide's local rag) I was mildly unsure what to expect of the film "Ice Age". The critic stated how the opening scene was hilarious (which it is) but then became slow and unamusing. Whoever wrote the report must have slept for the remainder, because it is a good laugh touching on a few obligatory moral, feel good issues. Recommended viewing & the extinction of the Dodo bird is finally revealed.

I had a message from a really good friend a week or so ago. After a couple of years of harassment, she's had to change her mobile phone number and keep it unlisted. The guy harassing her was her first love & due to this fact thought she couldn't get away. After the efforts of many of her friends and numerous beatings from this prick, she has now escaped, is engaged to a good bloke and will be able to live happily ever after. What possesses someone to persue another in such a manner.? Taking a fist to someone you want to have love you can't be the right way of going about things! Hopefully this change of phone number is the final hint to this guy. It is one of the hardest things to watch a person keep falling back in the violent arms of someone who has no right to lay their eyes on the beauty of such an incredible girl.

Just getting over a rather boring weekend. Nothing exciting at all to report. Next weekend should be a beauty. Four days, easter, possible birthday bash and plenty of indulgence. Spoilt in part by the end of daylight saving. Waking up to darkness once more.

The story goes like this.... Blogger won't accept posts directly at it's web site from the ADSL connection, blogbuddy has spat it and returns a port error # 11001 & TextRouter doesn't seem to like long posts. So I'll make them longer and longer until it gives out, then I'll have some idea of how much I can post in one sitting.

Testing a new blog poster by the name of TextRouter. Slightly dodgy name but looks straight forward.

When viewing the archives section please use the web browsers back button to get back to the current blogs. The two options two the side of the archives are mucked up & I can't for the life of me work out how to fix them yet!

Okay, well maybe blogbuddy doesn't after all. Not from work anyway! Thought about using greymatter, but after emailing my ISP, Perl is not available on the user server. They told me to contact business support and pay for access!! I'm not running a business! Just trying to get a half decent looking page with the ability to add to it occasionally!

Thanks to those that noticed the buggered links, All fixed now. Knew I couldn't get it all up without stuffing something.

I'm currently in the process of making a catalogue of my CD collection. A member of the Neil Finn mailing list recently had their collection of CD's stolen which included many irreplaceable club issues. Apparently providing a list is very useful for insurance purposes to work out a value. Better safe than sorry I say. Making up the list, I've just realised how many rare & irreplaceable CD's I've obtained over the years. I imagine that they are now worth plenty to the right people or very little to others. Once it's done, I'll stick the list under the "diverse" section.

Our boss from the golf club left during last week after resigning in Feb. Looking back there were signs something may have been on the cards, but it still came as a shock to all. Five years in the general managers chair and he leaves on the final day as if he had to be at his next workplace within the next hour. Forgot about saying goodbye to a few senior staff and just walked out. I've since found a couple of his personal certificates adorning the walls of his office which he is yet to come back & collect. Presently, the club is under the control of whoever steps up to the plate, be it the occasional committee member or staff. It certainly won't fall over until they find a replacement. The boss did very little in his final weeks. We've got it covered!

Apparently it does! That last post was a test, and with massive amounts of excitement, it returned the message "Success"!

Does blogbuddy have a future?

Woo Hoo!!! Welcome to my new page "One before unlucky" All brand spanking new & it only took three months of stuffing around to get it all working! Lots more features (some still coming), far better presentation and the photos that have been requested. They may not be of me, but that's probably a good thing. The guest book is now defunct since no-one really likes writing in them anyway!

Why "One before unlucky"? Well, it came to me one night out of the blue. The number of our house in the street is number 12, which is one before 13. Since 13 is generally considered to be unlucky..... (makes sense doesn't it?)

Anyway, It has actually become the name of a song I've written as well but that's another story. Overall, it's just a good summation of me, always seeming to avoid absolute disaster by the slimmest of margins or is that missing absolute success by the slimmest of margins? Who knows? I'm just wobbling down the edges of the road of life, trying not to stumble off into oblivion or get collected by the traffic passing by!

Hope this page is more willing than the last to be updated regularly & that all the links & images do as their told.
